eWAIVER

CURRENT VOLUNTEER LIST:

BENEFITS: 

• During the NTK Championship Series (Spring/Summer/Fall), volunteers earn Race Volunteer Credits towards free races, championship points, and banquet eligibility.
• During the Winter Series or Triple Crown, volunteers earn Work Credits towards discounts on annual membership fees.
• A Corner Worker credit is required for banquet eligibility and can be earned during the Championship Series or the Triple Crown.
• Participation in Winter Series, Triple Crown, and Championship Series events counts as participation credits towards trailer parking requirements (NOTE: credit goes to the worker).
• Plus, we couldn't have the race without your help!

Assistant Race Dir*

• TIME: 1p - Race End
• VOLUNTEER: Assist the RD as needed w all race day logistics; hands-on training to be RD; manage fuel/tire pick up
• CREDITS: 2 credits apply towards 2025 membership fees + participation requirements

Flagman*

• TIME: 4p - Race End
• VOLUNTEER: Ensure orderly and safe race conditions by displaying flags and activating track safety lights. NOTE: with approval of Race Director.
• Paid $200 + counts towards NTK participation requirements

Corner Marshall*

• TIME: 2p - Race End
• VOLUNTEER: Warn drivers of dangerous situations on the track, notify RD of potential driving/mechanical infractions, assist drivers to safety. NOTE: 18+, or 16+ with approval of Race Director and President.
• Paid $200 + counts towards NTK participation requirements

Grid Steward

• TIME: 2p - Race End
• VOLUNTEER: Manage grid: check wristbands & inspection tags, line up karts, call for engine start, release to track, keep unauthorized people off track, positioning for Happy Hour.
• CREDITS: 1 credit apply towards 2025 membership fees + participation requirements

Scales

• TIME: 3p - Race End
• VOLUNTEER: Record weights, convey penalties to drivers, notify Scoring as class clears Weight & Tech, keep traffic from gathering at exit to Tech Barn, collect transponders,
• CREDITS: 1 credit apply towards 2025 membership fees + participation requirements

Tech Helper

• TIME: 5p - Race End
• VOLUNTEER: Assist Tech, mark tires, distribute tech cards to top 3 in each class, assist with collecting transponders.
• CREDITS: 1 credit apply towards 2025 membership fees + participation requirements

Registration

• TIME: 12:45p - 4p
• VOLUNTEER: Check in drivers and spectators
• CREDITS: 1 credit apply towards 2025 membership fees + participation requirements

Trash Worker

• TIME: 1-2x as needed
• VOLUNTEER: Empty all trash cans into dumpster.
• CREDITS: 1 credit apply towards 2025 membership fees + participation requirements

Gatehouse

• TIME: 4p - Start of Finals
• VOLUNTEER: Monitor entry into NTK after driver registration is complete, check in spectators and obtain eWaivers
• CREDITS: 2 credits apply towards 2025 membership fees + participation requirements
